Phantom - Les Mis Shoesby ~LacernellaRubra

About two years ago I bought a pair of cheap black shoes with the idea of painting something on it. I started painting a dragon on them, but failed miserably and put the shoes away in my closet. I hardly new about Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables back then. Anyway, I came across my shoes again a few weeks ago and decided I would paint some Les Mis and Phantom-stuff on it. Last tuesday I started and yesterday I finished it.

I used acrylics and for those of you who can't read the lyrics I put on the shoes, here they are:

For Les Mis (Red):
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes

And for Phantom (Blue):
Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night

Took me a while to choose the quotes. Both musicals have some great lyrics.
